Tigres is close to securing its direct pass to the final phase of the Liga MX Clausura Tournament and needs a victory against the Xolos de Tijuana, led by Miguel Herrera.
The Tigres players do not forget Piojo Herrera’s phrase upon leaving the feline club. The Mexican coach expressed that “it is an old team”something that caused annoyance among the royal team.
Rafael Carioca, Tigres footballer, recalled that since Miguel Herrera left, the team has three titles.

Tigres will seek victory at home against Tijuana; Chivas will be a visitor against Atlas and Pachuca faces Mazatlán at home. The three games will be this Saturday.
América secures first place with victory against Puebla
América, champion of Mexican soccer, beat Puebla 1-2 this Friday with a double from Salvador Reyes, and provisionally settled at the top of the Clausura tournament with 35 points waiting for Toluca, which has 32 and has its match pending of the last day of the regular phase.
