Mexico City, like many states in that country, is devastated by organized crime, being The Tepito Union and the Tláhuac Cartel the two main criminal organizations operating in the capital.

Although authorities have focused primarily on members of La Unión Tepito, the truth is that the Tláhuac Cartel is just as dangerous, which is why rewards were recently offered for three women identified as leaders of that group.

The new targets, as announced by the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office, are the wife and daughters of Felipe de Jesús Pérez Lunaalias “The Eyes”former leader of the Tláhuac Cartel who died in July 2017 during a confrontation with elements of the Navy.

The people requested by the authorities are María de los Ángeles Ramírez Arvizu, Liliana Pérez Ramírezalias “Li” and/or “The Voice”, and his sister Samantha Perez Ramirez, alias “Sam”. For each of the women, a reward of 500,000 pesos is offered to locate her.

After the death of “El Ojos”, his wife María de los Ángeles was identified as a possible successor in the leadership of the Tláhuac Cartel.

“He is probably in dispute for control of the sale and distribution of drugs with antagonistic criminal groups such as “La Unión Tepito” and Los Rodolfos,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

In second place on the list is Liliana Pérez Ramírez, daughter of “El Ojos”, who possibly is in charge of the sale and distribution of drugsand operates under the command of his mother.

Meanwhile, Samantha Pérez Ramírez is identified as the financial operator of the Tláhuac Cartelso a 500,000 pesos reward is also offered for information that helps in his capture.
