Carlos Vela’s novel continues. The veteran Mexican forward ended his relationship with Los Angeles FC and until now remains inactive without a team. Liga MX is a possibility, pBut it was his own brother who was in charge of denying this option.

In view of Carlos Vela’s separation from Los Angeles FC, several Mexican soccer teams have tried to hire the former Real Sociedad player. Chivas de Guadalajara and Rayados de Monterrey have been the main interested clubs.

However, Los Angeles FC also had intentions of keeping the “Bomber” in their club. In fact, this possibility would be linked to the change in Major League Soccer regulations. But everything has remained in the words of its leadership.

Alejandro Velabrother of Carlos, assured that the “Bombardero” has not had any rapprochement with Rayados de Monterrey. Alejandro reaffirmed a possibility that he advanced at the beginning of the year: Carlos Vela would only play in Mexico with Cancún FC.

“The only thing I can tell you is that with Monterrey there is nothing and most likely to arrive in Cancun. The big problem is that we have to be in the First Division,” Alejandro said for W Deportes.

Will Cancún FC be able to play in Liga MX?

For several months, the Cancún FC board has expressed its desire to participate in Liga MX. The club has made large investments and has had very good returns in the Liga Expansión MX.

Cancún FC was champion last season of the Apertura of the Liga Expansión MX. ANDThe Aztec team defeated Atlante in two games with a series that ended 3-0. Alejandro Vela’s wish is to see his club in the Mexican top category.

“Hopefully the Federation will open the doors for us and we can be in the First Division very soon,Carlos (Vela) still has a few years left to give us in the First Division”he added.

Carlos Vela is 35 years old. The former Arsenal player left great numbers at Los Angeles FC. The Aztec scored 93 goals and provided 54 assists in 188 games for the club. The “Bombardero” played more than 13,000 minutes with the Los Angeles team and left a great mark on the club, a team that won the MLS championship.
