The presidential campaign of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris reported that the Kennedy family will support the re-election of Democratic candidates in the 2024 elections. at an event to be held this Thursday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
They will be joined by Philadelphia civil rights leader John White Jr., who will speak about the personal impact the Kennedy family has had on their work in public service and President Biden’s leadership on civil rights.

Kerry Kennedy will introduce President Joe Biden, who will also give a speech.
President Biden has long cited the Kennedy family and their work to fight for justice, human rights, and an economy that works for all Americans as a key part of his public service.
Biden has a bust of Robert F. Kennedy in the Oval Office and describes RFK as one of his political heroes, who inspired him early in his career to leave corporate law to become a public defender and then run for public office.
Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, will give a speech announcing his family’s support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidates for the Presidency in the 2024 elections, and these are some excerpts from it:
“President Biden has been a defender of all the rights and freedoms that my father and uncles defended.”
“Donald Trump is running to push us back, attacking the most basic rights and freedoms that are fundamental to who we are as Americans. He has said that he will be a dictator from day one, and has even said that he wants to try to suspend the Constitution.”
“I can only imagine how Donald Trump’s outrageous lies and behavior would have horrified my father, Robert F. Kennedy, who proudly served as Attorney General of the United States and kept his promise to uphold the law and protect the country. Dad defended equality before justice, human rights and freedom from misery and fear. Just as President Biden does today.”
“We can say today, with no less urgency, that our rights and freedoms are once again in danger. That is why we must all unite in a campaign that should unite not only Democrats, but all Americans, including reasonable Republicans and independents, who believe in what Lincoln called the better angels of our nature. A vote for Joe Biden is a vote to save our democracy and our decency. It is a vote for what my father asked for in his own presidential announcement in 1968… “our right to the moral leadership of this planet.”
After the backup event, President Biden and members of the Kennedy family will join local supporters and volunteers at an event where, President Biden will be introduced by Joe Kennedy III.
After President Biden delivers his speech, members of the Kennedy family will reach out directly to voters, making calls and knocking on doors.
