A little over a year after the death of Andrés García’s gaze has turned to his widow, Margarita Portillo, regarding the actor’s last will.: that his ashes were deposited in the sea.
In a recent meeting with several media outlets, the actor’s widow revealed that this request from the Mexican cinema star could not be fulfilled: “He’s still with me in my room. “My sister-in-law couldn’t come at the end of the year, and we have to be together to do it.”he detailed before the cameras.
Likewise, she indicated that she does not feel ready to say goodbye to Andrés García, who was her husband for twenty-two years, definitively: “I still don’t want to get rid of them (the ashes),” he said.
Regarding the celebrity’s inheritance, Margarito Portillo preferred to keep his response brief and direct, ensuring that he leaves the resolution to his lawyers. However, she sent a message to her husband’s children, Leonardo García, Andrés García Jr. and Andrea García.
“Nothing has happened, they are making their lives, I am making mine”, she expressed when asked if she has maintained contact with any of them. “I hope they are well,” she added.
The famous Mexican soap opera actor Andrés García died on April 4, 2023 at the age of 81, after a long fight against hepatic cirrhosis that was diagnosed.
“I stayed by his side, caring for him and loving him until his last breath. He left peacefully and in a way that I thank God for.”declared his now widow Margarita Portillo at that time.
