Taylor Swift liked Ryan Gosling’s version of her song “All Too Well”. On Sunday, the 34-year-old singer reacted to the actor’s funny sketch to say goodbye to Ken, the character she played in Barbie and which gave her her first Oscar nomination.

The singer shared her reaction through her Instagram stories. “Too good (Ryan and Emily’s version)!!!” Taylor wrote. “Catch me accidentally singing this version on tour. This monologue is EVERYTHING,” added the singer who enjoyed Coachella with her boyfriend Travis Kelce over the weekend.

Saturday, Ryan Gosling hosted Saturday night Livewhere he definitively closed his time as Ken and what better way to do it than with a Taylor Swift song.

Gosling He assured that it was time to say goodbye to Ken. “I’m not going to make any jokes about Ken, because he’s not funny,” he said.

“Ken and I had to split up. We went too deep and it’s over, so I’m not going to talk about it,” added the actor, who could not keep his word and confessed that he would talk a little about the character.

“When you play a character so strongly, for so long, it’s just… ‘letting it go.’ “It feels like a breakup and to process a breakup, there is only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift,” she said before sitting down at a grand piano to perform. his own version of “All Too Well.”

“Because I was just Ken and now I’m just Ryan,” said part of his “All Too Well” (Ryan’s Version). However, when he was concentrating on his performance, Emily Bunt, his co-star in The Fall Guy, He interrupted him to reproach him for not promoting his new film.

The actor paid no attention and continued his performance until the situation became violent when Bunt threw a bottle and a chair at Gosling to try to stop him, but he couldn’t.

The actor took advantage of his persuasion skills and reminded the actress of her Kitty character in Oppenheimerwhich made her nostalgic and motivated her to join the actor in the song.

The actors ended their performance saying goodbye “forever” to both characters.. “Goodbye, my sweet prince,” Gosling said before blowing out a candle with Ken’s image.
