The rapper, producer and actor Kid Cudi has not hesitated to be honest about one of the worst episodes of his life , which occurred six years ago.
In 2016, the music star had to be admitted to a rehabilitation center due to severe depression that had already led to suicidal thoughts. As if that were not enough, only two weeks after his admission, the artist suffered a stroke and was rushed to the nearest hospital.
In conversation with Esquire magazine, Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, has briefly but forcefully described his unfortunate physical and emotional state of those times: “Everything in my life was screwed up ”
, he declared in his interview.
After recovering from that incident and returning to his usual life, the interpreter appeared at the auditions from the play ‘Lobby Hero’, starring Michael Cera. Although unfortunately he didn’t get the part, Kid Cudi remembers that casting process with great fondness, because thanks to it he was able to make sure that he was still in top form and prepared to cultivate your career as before.
“I proved to myself that I could do it. It was just what I needed at the time. I was happy and I knew that my brain was still strong. I did not lose capabilities after the shit that happened to me ”, he has celebrated.
