During a private dinner organized with the purpose of raising funds for his campaign seeking his hypothetical re-election, While attacking Donal Trump for the riots at the Capitol, the president of the nation confused the date on which they occurred and cited another by mistake.

The 81-year-old Republican went to the home of actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, which is located in Westchester County, New York.

The objective of the visit was to meet with a select group of followers who, to hear him speak, allegedly paid close to $3,300 dollars per cover, money that will be used to cover part of his campaign expenses.

Among those present were the famous fashion designer Eileen Fisher, the lawyer Rodge Cohen, the financier Robert Goodman; and hedge fund manager John Shapiro, to name just a few of nearly 100 guests.

During a moment at dinner, Joe Biden began to speak negatively about his electoral opponent Donald Trump whom He was credited with encouraging the citizens who forcibly entered the Capitol on January 6, 2021 with the aim of preventing the official recognition of the Democratic victory in the presidential elections.

However, the nation’s president made the mistake of changing the date of the event.

“We will certainly never forget the dark days of June 6. One of the dark days in history. “The idea that it wasn’t an insurrection… I don’t understand it,” express.

Although in a matter of seconds he tried to correct his mistake, his words once again showed some wear and tear. perhaps, to a large extent, due to the time of the event or the miles traveled in order to boost your campaign.

In fact, June 6, also known as “D-Day,” commemorates the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, during World War II.with a balance of more than 2,500 American soldiers dead.

During the rest of the meeting before his admirers, Joe Biden continued attacking his staunch rival who is trying to resolve his legal troubles in court.

“We will never forget him wanting tear gas to be sprayed on peaceful protesters in front of the White House and holding the Bible upside down. “He is now writing his own Bible,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, the race to win the presidency looks increasingly close in a scenario where the votes of independents and in undecided states will probably define the winner.
