Bodies of two men are found in an artificial cave next to white powder, in Northridge

The bodies of two men were found in a cave described as artificial in Northridge along with an unidentified white powder.

The discovery was reported around 10:30 am this Sunday in an area that may be a homeless encampment in the 8700 block of North Lindley Avenuebehind an industrial complex and near some train tracks.

Firefighters who responded to the scene found two men dead. “inside a cave dug by humans”.

Because The presence of a white powder was noticed at the scene.a team specialized in hazardous materials, as well as Urban Search and Rescue, went to the site to help forensic doctors in the work to recover the two bodies, firefighters said.

A dust test determined that it contained “traces of fentanyl”said Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Battalion Chief Scott Hilton.

“We were able to mitigate that, ensure that. We will get rid of that,” the LAFD battalion chief added.
