Karina Banda breaks down in tears when remembering the loss of a loved one: “I loved him”

Like every afternoon, the hosts of the program “Desiguales” share their experiences regarding various topics that make the public who tune in from their homes reflect. On this occasion it was the turn of the Mexican Karina Banda to open her heart and remember one of the most difficult moments of her life: the loss of her grandfather. What was that he say. In an emotional talk with Dr. Nancy Álvarez, Adamari López and Marie Claire Harp, who was the special guest of the show, she told of her experience leaving her native country to make her dreams come true in the United States.

“It is a sacrifice that many of us who leave our country make (…) In my case, I have been in the United States for 10 years.”, the wife of actor Carlos Ponce began her story.

Unable to contain her emotion, Karina Banda confessed that one of the hardest moments in her life was not being able to say goodbye to him before he died: “My grandfather…oh I’m going to cry,” she said moved.

“He passed away last year and I was in Argentina doing a television show and I remember that before going to Argentina I went to Monterrey because I knew that he was already very bad. It is not easy when they die and you cannot go, you cannot be there with them,” she confessed through tears. “It is one of the many sacrifices we have to make.”

Under the watchful eye of his co-hosts, he explained that his death was unexpected: “In the end he knew that I loved him very much. The last time I spoke to him on the phone he told me that he loved me with all his heart, and he is strong, it is difficult.”

As a result of her story, the rest of the cast of the program could not contain their tears and actress Adamari López was in charge of comforting Karina Banda.
