How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball fans a second chance. You can reuse your Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, with a maximum cash prize of $10 million.
To play it, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket and you will only have to pay an additional $1 per play.
Additionally, Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature are eligible for prizes in separate drawings.
How do you get your prize?
Just like Powerball, Double Play prizes must be claimed in the state where you went to purchase the winning ticket. Players in general may claim a prize of up to $600 dollars at any establishment authorized to sell lottery in the country where they purchased the ticket.
Prizes exceeding $600 can be requested at the main lottery headquarters in each case. There are also some authorized establishments, whose address you will have to consult accordingly.
You have between 90 days and one year to request the redemption of your prize, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold.
