Through an official press release, Ford has revealed that the Mustang users will have access to the factory first transparent matte film for your cars, providing a satin finish while preserving the vehicle’s paint.
Mustang 2024 Matte Clear Film is a product developed by PPGspecifically designed to resist action of detergents strong used in manual washes and automatic non-contact washes.
It also protects against corrosion caused by road salt, bird droppings, insect stains, and asphalt residue buildup. Starting February 27, interested parties can order this new option for a price of $5,995 dollars with 3-year or 36,000-mile factory warranty.
New options
He Mustang Matte Clear Film It joins a wide range of customization options available to users with wheel selections, interior color palettes, contrasting seat belts, factory-painted brake calipers and a variety of paint colors.
He Matte Clear Film is available for all Mustang coupe models (EcoBoost, GT and Dark Horse) in all factory paint colors. The first deliveries are scheduled for June. Additionally, it will be available for all Mustang convertible models in the fourth quarter of 2024.

For customers who request the Mustang matte clear film for the Mustang Dark HorseIt’s important to put attention on They will not receive the decorative stripe hood standard nor will they be able to opt for the painted racing stripe.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight that the Matte Clear Film is not available with GT California Special package nor with the optional graphics packages on the Mustang EcoBoost and GT. Finally, on the Mustang Dark Horse, customers who prefer a more understated look will also have the option to remove the graphics.
