Almost six and a half years later, Murder charges filed in the shooting death of a 31-year-old Hispanic woman in Riverside Countythe authorities announced.

In a statement, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said that Daniel Acevedo, a man from the town of San Jacinto, was accused of killing Anna Meza in an incident that occurred around 3:00 pm on November 12, 2017.

On that date, agents responded to reports that a woman had been shot in the area of ​​the 100 block of North Dillon Avenue.

Acevedo was arrested on April 12, 2024 during a traffic stop in San Jacinto, which was conducted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Unit, the release said.
