This Monday, the most important event in the world of fashion takes place: the Met Gala 2024which will be held, like every year, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where guests will surprise with their elegant and original costumes.
This year’s gala will havein addition to Anna Wintour, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez as hosts.
What is this year’s theme and dress code?
The theme of this edition of the gala is “Sleeping Beauties: the awakening of fashion”which promises a fusion between the historical and the technological, and The dress code is “The Garden of Time”, inspired by the story of the same name by JG Ballard.
It is a short story that presents two aristocrats immersed in an environment of beauty surrounded by chaos, so this Monday you could see many outfits inspired by period costumes.
What artists will be attending this year?
Until now, Only the presence of Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez is confirmedwho are hosts of the event.
In recent days, there has been speculation about the possible presence of Taylor Swift; However, a source assured Entertainment Tonight that the singer will not attend this year’s gala.
