Ricardo Peláez, Sinha, Omar Bravo and Carlos Salcido, newly elected to the Hall of Fame

Midfielder Antonio Naelson “Sinha”, Omar Bravo and Carlos Salcido, World Cup winners for the Mexican national team in 2006, as well as Ricardo Peláez, World Cup winner in France 1998, the Argentine Hernán Cristante, the Chilean Rodrigo “Pony” Ruiz, the Peruvian Walter Ormeño, the World Cup winner Jaime Belmonte in Sweden 1958 and Esther Mora, will be the new members of Mexican soccer in the International Hall of Fame who will be induced next September.

They will also be part of this new block of elected officials, international stars, such as the Argentinean Diego Simeone, Juan Román Riquelme, the Chilean Iván Zamorano, the Germans Oliver Khan and Sepp Maier, the Paraguayan José Luis Chilavert, the Italian Andrea Pirlo, the Englishman David Beckham and the American Kristine Lilly.

This election was made by journalists from America, Europe, Africa and Asiain an event that for the first time will leave the Pachuca headquarters to take place at the Bicentenario Theater in León, Guanajuato, on September 3.

In this way, the organizers of this event seek to give greater openness to their event of choice, as well as venues for its organization, as now in the event on September 3 that will take place at the Bicentenario Theater in León.

Other members who have been elected are the Bulgarian Hristo Stoichkov, the Argentine Jorge Valdano, the Uruguayan Enzo Francescoli, the Brazilians Cafú, Rivelino, Kaka and Rivaldo, as well as the Italian Roberto Baggio and the Spanish Joseph Guardiola. As well as Antonio Carlos Santos, Ricardo LaVolpe, Cuauhtémoc Blanco and Rafael Márquez.
