Taylor Swift has added one more achievement to her list with the recent release of her eleventh album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”which as expected, caused a stir on the internet due to theories that suggest that it is a chronology of her failed relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.

The first of its nods to the British would be the album’s title. And Alwyn and her colleague Paul Mescal revealed in 2022 that they had a group chat titled “The Tortured Man Club,” a detail that did not go unnoticed by the singer’s followers.

As is customary, Taylor Swift recounted some of the biggest moments in her life over the past few years in the 16 songs she released at midnight: her six-year relationship with the British actor Joe Alwyn, her brief romance with the musician Matty Healy, from the group The 1975, and as a grand finale, her current courtship with the American football player Travis Kelce.

Titles like: “Fortnight,” “The Tortured Poets Department,” “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” “Down Bad,” “So Long, London,” “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” and “Florida” !!!”, they compose are part of this musical proposal. Two of these compositions come from his own authorship, while five were co-written with Aaron Dessner of The National, with whom he also worked on Folklore, and eight with Jack Antonoff of Bleachers.

However, the surprise did not end there, because just two hours after the release of “The Tortured Poets Department”, Taylor Swift surprised the public by revealing that it was a double album whose second half was released in the early morning.

It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. ✌️ I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine… pic.twitter.com/y8pyDK8VTd

“Surprise at two in the morning: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret double album. And now the story is no longer mine… it’s all yours”, wrote the famous woman on her social networks about the album material that has been crowned the greatest of her career.
