Three minors are arrested for attacking an alleged homeless person in Long Beach

Three teenagers, between 12 and 15 years old, They were arrested for physically attacking an alleged homeless person over the weekend in Long Beach, authorities reported.

According to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD)officers responded to the 100 block of Pacific Avenue for reports of an assault with a deadly weapon.

At the scene, the police They found a man with injuries to his upper body. Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department treated the victim at the scene of the attack and the man ultimately refused to be transported to a hospital.

According to initial investigations, detectives discovered that the victim had been approached by a group of teenagers with whom he engaged in a verbal dispute.

The confrontation led to violent actions when the youths hit the man with a tripod and tent poles. They also threw objects at the victim before fleeing the scene, Long Beach police said.

Moments later, officers were able to locate the group and Three teenagers arrested who were allegedly involved in the altercation.
