Post Malone and Miley Cyrus on Beyoncé's new album 'Cowboy Carter', what else is known?

Just hours before the premiere of Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’, it was revealed that the star’s eighth album will feature great collaborations that include artists like Miley Cyrus in the song ‘II Most Wanted’ and Post Malone in the song ‘Levii’s Jeans’.

The artist will also join two great voices of the country genre: Dolly Parton, with her musical piece ‘Jolene’, and Willie Nelson. The studio album will be released this March 29 and includes 27 songsincluding interludes, according to information provided in Entertainment Weekly.

Two other great artists will be present on the album: Willie Nelson and Linda Martell, the first black soloist to play the Grand Ole Opry.

What else is known about Beyonce’s album?

In addition to collaborations with the aforementioned artists, Beyoncé will share songs with hip-hop singer Shaboozey on the song ‘Spaghettii’ and with singer-songwriters Tanner Adell and Willie Jones.

‘Cowboy Carter’ is a continuation of the artist’s successful album ‘Renaissance’, with which the artist embarked on her world tour and released a film that grossed more than $27.4 million dollars worldwide.

Rumors of Beyoncé’s new country album began in February at the 2024 Grammys. The singer wore a cowboy-style hat and an outfit alluding to the popular genre in the United States.

The news was confirmed on SuperBowl day, February 11, when he released two singles from his new era: ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriage.’

Fans did not anticipate a return so soon from the ‘Single Ladies’ singer, since in 2023 she was immersed in her world tour of the album released the previous year.

However, it is important to remember that Beyoncé teased that ‘Renaissance’ consists of three acts, suggesting that after this release, she will release another album.

A little more about ‘Cowboy Carter’

In a post shared on his Instagram, he opened up to his followers and expressed that there is a story behind ‘Cowboy Carter’. She even confessed that the process began five years ago when she dedicated herself to studying the country genre in depth and with his first song she led the chart.

Curiosity began after an incident in which she did not feel “welcome,” meaning she decided to do it her way.

According to Variety, that incident occurred in 2016, when Beyoncé sang alongside the Dixie Chicks at the Country Music Association Awards.

His appearance caused a stir among the public on social networks, who questioned why they gave him a place at such an important event.

“It was born from an experience I had years ago in which I did not feel welcome… and it was very clear that I was not (…) But, thanks to that experience, I delved into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive” wrote the artist who was born in Houston, Texas.
