Rayados de Monterrey was surprised at Lower.com Field. The Mexican team was defeated 2-1 by Columbus Crew in the first leg of the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions League. The memes mocked the Mexican defeat.

In the last 18 games playing at home, Rayados de Monterrey has only lost one of them. Only Fernando Gago’s Chivas have been able to win a victory at the BBVA Stadium this season.
The return match between Rayados de Monterrey and Columbus Crew will take place next Wednesday, May 1st. Both teams will play a duel in their corresponding leagues before reaching the second leg of the Concachampions semifinal.
