The Latin American Music Awards came to an end, leaving unforgettable moments! The ceremony took place at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In this edition, the big winners were Karol G and Feid, who took home six awards each. The Colombians left behind Peso Pluma, the most nominated artist, Carin León and Bad Bunny.
What were the best moments of the night?
The ceremony was memorable, especially highlighting the emotional tribute paid to the singer Ricardo Montaner. His moving speech focused on future generations and the importance of believing in themselves.
Montaner received one of the three special awards of the night: ‘Latin AMAs Legacy’.
On top of that, the Venezuelan singer joined Silvestre Dangond, Manuel Medrano and Thalía on stage for his tribute. A tribute with which they celebrated his 45-year artistic career.
Another honoree of the night was Yandel. The Puerto Rican received the ‘Latin AMAs Pioneer Award’.
In his speech, he thanked his running mate Wisin and expressed “Among them, my companion of many battles, my brother Wisin, I love you with all my heart, my brother.”
The first prize of the night went to Peso Pluma and his album ‘Génesis’. The artist won the award for ‘Best Regional Mexican Music Album’.
“I just want to thank you for all the love you have shown to the corridos, the love you have shown me,” he said in his speech.
Later, he highlighted “Thank you to those who make this possible, especially to you my fans because you have made this wave of bullfights even bigger.”
Carin León appeared on stage twice. He premiered his song ‘When life is a swallow’ and then joined Banda MS.
For his part, Marc Anthony also decided to show a preview of his new album ‘Muevánse’ and sang ‘Ale, Ale’.
Perhaps one of the strangest moments of the ceremony was the hosting of the program. The drivers sometimes spoke in Spanish and other times in English, for some social network users it was a bit strange.
