The last collection day for beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for this month in Texas is established according to the payment schedule for next Sunday, April 28.
Each state has the autonomy to administer SNAP benefits to its residents, Some entities send payments depending on the Case Number, Social Security Number or initial of the family’s last name, among others.
Payment days in Texas:
In the case of Texas, The Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number is used to determine the exact day beneficiaries will receive their paymentsfor next week the distribution will be as follows:
- 18-20 or 72-74: April 21.
- 21-24 or 75-78: April 22.
- 25-27 or 79-81: April 23.
- 28-31 or 82-85: April 24.
- 32-34 or 86-88: April 25.
- 35-38 or 89-92: April 26.
- 39-41- 46-49 or 93-95: April 27.
How much is the amount of payments in April?
The exact amounts that families benefiting from SNAP receive are determined by the number of members. Single-person households get up to $291, two-person families get about $535, while a household of eight members can receive up to $1,751 dollars monthly.
