A Georgia man shot and killed “randomly” a tourist in a Miami Beach restaurant and danced on his body as the man tried to protect his one-year-old baby from the gunfire, according to reports of the terrible scene that unfolded in the heart of South Beach on Tuesday.
Dustin Wakefield, 21 , is survived by his wife and 1-year-old son. Tamarius Blair Davis, from 21 year old, from Norcross, Georgia, was allegedly high on psychedelic mushrooms when opened fire on Dustin Wakefield, of 21 years , point blank and killed him, and then danced over the body of the man he had murdered, in full view of horrified spectators who were dining al fresco at La Cerveceria de Barrio on Miami Beach’s famous Ocean Drive , Tuesday night, witnesses and police said.

“After the shooting, I was dancing on top of the guy,” told CBS Miami a witness who did not want to be identified.
Dustin Wakefield, of Castle Rock, Colorado, tried to protect his 1-year-old son when he was shot multiple times , said his family to Miami Herald . “This guy came in with a gun in his hand and said, ‘It’s time to die.’ He pointed the gun at his son and Dustin said, ‘He’s just a kid,’ ”his uncle, Mike Wakefield, told the newspaper.
“Dustin stood between the gunman and the baby and the baby shot him. He shot him several times on the ground. ”
The video obtained by WSVN shows the alleged shooter dancing while shouting is heard from inside the restaurant. A witness told the station that he had been told that the deranged gunman appeared to be smiling and laughing during the disturbing attack.

Later, Gunman Tamarius Davis told police he took mushrooms , “which made him feel empowered,” according to FOX 7, which cited to the arrest report.

The shots also hit another customer, he suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said. Davis confessed that he had carried out both shooting attacks, police said.
The authorities have not revealed the identity of the second victim.
Police responded to calls at 911 over the shooter and found Tamarius Davis trying to open a locked door while holding a firearm, CBS Miami reported.
