Trump plans to send extermination teams to Mexico to eliminate cartel leaders

Donald Trump wants to covertly deploy US assassination squads to execute drug trafficking leaders in Mexico shortly after he takes office again, if he wins the Presidency in the 2024 elections, three people who have discussed the matter with the former president of the United States told Rolling Stone.

According to the American magazine Rolling Stone, Trump has expressed the idea of ​​sending these forces “with or without the support of the Mexican government” to his campaign advisors.

These “special forces” would have as their objective assassinate the leaders of Mexico’s main drug trafficking cartelsindicated the media.

One of Trump’s campaign promises is to “declare war” on Mexican drug cartels.

The former president’s online campaign site details the measures he will take to achieve this goal, including order the Pentagon to “appropriately use special forces and other overt and covert actions to inflict maximum damage on cartel leadership, infrastructure, and operations.”

In turn, Trump proposes designating drug trafficking groups as terrorists, an idea that has also been proposed by legislators of his party in Congress.

The Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has rejected this latest proposal, accusing that it is a propaganda strategy of conservative politicians.

Trump’s campaign, which has a strong anti-immigrant component, has also linked Joe Biden’s handling of the southern border with the increase in opioid deathsespecially due to fentanyl trafficking in the United States.
