The accusations against Kevin Spacey seem to have no end. The American actor will face a civil trial in the United Kingdom for sexual assault, which will take place next year.
In accordance with Variety, A man, whose identity remains anonymous by court decision, denounced Spacey for an alleged sexual assault that occurred in August 2008. and that it caused psychiatric damage and financial loss.
The exact date of the trial has not yet been confirmed.but the documents are scheduled to be exchanged in early 2025, according to the American media.
This Tuesday, the actor’s legal team went to court to try to annul a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff. after Spacey’s lawyers did not present their defense on time.
Judge David Cook agreed to annul the sentence to “avoid injustice” and described the lawyers’ error as a “blunder.”
The civil lawsuit, filed in 2022, had been suspended after the actor was acquitted of nine chargesincluding sexual assault and indecent assault, brought by four men between 2001 and 2013.
Since 2018, Kevin Spacey has been involved in legal problems for alleged sexual assault crimes.

Last week, the trailer for the documentary was released, in which he appears at various stages of his career. Among those interviewed for the production are none of the people involved in the trials against the actor.
Spacey Unmaskedproduced by Katherine Haywood, was released in the United Kingdom on May 6, while in the United States it will be available through MAX, formerly HBO, but the date has not yet been confirmed.
