Two children, ages 4 and 2, are in critical condition. after being rescued after being swept away by the current of a stream this Tuesday in San Bernardino County, authorities reported.
A 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy were transported urgently to two hospitals, where they were reported in critical condition.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. in Mill Creeknear the Thurman Flats Picnic Area, just west of Mountain Home Village, where a whitewater challenge took place.

San Bernardino County Fire Department reported that a call was received from the girl’s mother, who said that the minor had entered Mill Creek and had been dragged.
