Chucky Lozano won again the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven in order to add their fourth title in Europe.
The Mexican soccer player won titles in Italy and Holland. With Napoli he won the Scudetto last season, one of the most important in his career.
With Napoli, Lozano also won an Italian Cup and the first Eredivisie which he won in 2018 adds his four titles in the Old Continent.
Lozano still has a long way to go among the Mexican soccer players with the most titles in Europe.
This is a list of the Mexican soccer players with the most titles in Europe:
Rafael Márquez – 14 titles
Rafael Márquez has been the Mexican player with the most titles during his career in Europe and he had a great time in Rijkaard and Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona.
Márquez was part of the sextet that Barcelona won in 2009. His record includes 2 Champions Leagues, 4 La Ligas, 3 Spanish Super Cups and 1 European Super Cup.
Hugo Sánchez – 12 titles
Hugo Sánchez is considered one of the best Mexican forwards in history. The Mexican demonstrated his high level in the white shirt with Chilean goals and had a great time at Casa Merengue.
Hugo Sánches’ titles that he won were: 5 LaLiga, 4 Spanish Super Cup, 2 Copa del Rey and 1 UEFA Cup.
Nery Castillo – 11 titles
Nery Castillo shone in Europe in the Greek Super League and in Ukraine. Castillo won up to 7 Greek leagues and 2 Greek Cups.
Also in Ukrainian football, Castillo won 1 Ukrainian League and 1 Ukrainian Cup, reaching 11 titles during his time in Europe.
Other players like Javier “Chicharito” Hernández won 6 titles in Europe, most of them with Manchester United. Chicharito won 2 Premier League and 3 Community Shield, under the direction of Sir Alex Ferguson.
