Ryan Giggs pleads not guilty to domestic violence charges

The coach of the Wales National Team and former player of Manchester United , Ryan Giggs , pleaded not guilty to the accusations of domestic violence against a woman on November 1.

Giggs assured that he did not act violently against the alleged victim, who also assured that he had suffered isolation, humiliation, abuse and degradation for three years .

According to British media, the technician’s behavior extended from December of 2017 until November 2020.

Faced with the accusations, Giggs was removed from the selection , who will not direct in the next European Championship, and will be replaced by former player Robert Page.

Giggs will have to return to court next 26 of May. The former player said in a statement released last Friday that he would plead not guilty to the accusations and that he would fight to clear his name.
