The sheriff’s office published Friday night the call to 911 and body camera video that captured the incident audio.
You can hear Brown complaining to a dispatcher that his brother was interfering with his plans to get his car back. Brown asked his brother for a weapon -which he refused-, and said he was about to kill him.
He later told the dispatcher that he was outside walking down a street and contradicted himself by saying he had and then did not have a gun. David A. Haynes , attorney for the family of Brown , said that Brown was unarmed and only had a cordless phone in hand. Fact that the sheriff’s office also corroborated by also saying that he was unarmed.
The video of the camera on the body can hardly be seen because it is dark and also the camera was pointed away from the action, but a deputy sheriff can be heard arriving telling Brown to show his hands .

The officer then yells: “ Drop the gun !”
Then another voice is heard shouting: “ He has a gun to his head ! ”
Shortly after, the officer tells Brown to stop walking towards him and then fire seven shots, hitting Brown . The agent then assisted before Brown was rushed to the hospital, where his family says he remains in critical condition.
In a statement the family said the shooting was “completely avoidable.”
” Isaiah was on the phone with him 911 at the time of the shooting and the officer mistook a home wireless phone for a weapon, “the statement said. “There is no indication that Isaiah did more than comply with orders and raised his hands with the phone in hand as he was told. ”
The authorities said that the officer who fired the shots is on administrative license , pending the results of an investigation by the Virgini State Police a.
Once the investigation is complete, the case will be turned over to a special counsel, the attorney for the Commonwealth of Fredericksburg, LaBravia Jenkins , for you to review and make a decision on whether charges will be filed.
