Alex Ronquillo , of Ecuadorian origin , traveled to Mexico to get married in the state of Guanajuato , but upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) he was detained by staff of Migration for no apparent reason, despite the fact that he had his documents in order, and he was denied entry to that country .
Ronquillo met Nadia Reyes in Santiago from Chile , where she lived for eight years while pursuing a postgraduate and master’s degree as surgeon dentist .

After four years of dating and once she returned to Mexico last January, decided to get married .
The Friday 16 April, Alex flew from Santiago to Mexico City , with all his papers in order, with a return ticket and with his job as a systems engineer in Chile ; However, he was detained by immigration agents at Terminal 2 of the Mexican airport.
His plane landed at 15: 00 hours (local time) and, in the first migratory filter, they separated him from the other travelers to take him to another area where they asked him several questions.
In the end, according to his testimony, the migratory Mexican authority only told him: “You don’t convince me”, as an argument to deny entry to Mexico .
Alex reported with Nadia until 19: 00 hours (local time), when you were allowed to make a call for 20 seconds.
She had traveled from Moroléon , Guanajuato , to Querétaro , where she was going to pick up her fiancé at the bus terminal, but given the situation, she moved to Mexico City .
“On the bus I started to investigate on I nternet . I came across a note from the Pakistani that they kept for a month, with notes of disappearances. I found that they have planted drugs and are taking them prisoner. I found myself a thousand stories and then my head was super revolutionized. ”
Upon reaching the Terminal 2 in the first minutes of Saturday, Nadia immediately went to the offices of Migration .
“I explained to them that he had the right to a lawyer and to make calls, but they said no, that they had every right to keep him incommunicado ”, he assured.
Given the pressure of the young woman, who said that she would not leave the offices until she knew that her fiancé was fine, Alex was deported to Chile .
Until noon on Saturday , already in Santiago , Alex was able to explain to Nadia everything that he lived.
He told her that he was held all the time along with five others people in a small room without ventilation , in which the heat was unbearable and in which they only ate a sandwich .
Alex , who had already entered and left before Mexico , he will try again to enter to marry his fiancée, although he will have to pay again for the plane ticket and the cost of excess baggage, and ask the church to reschedule the wedding talks.
