Gala Montes and Juan Diego Covarrubias are the protagonists of the new stellar telenovela from Televisa and Univision, “ Designing Your Love “. The melodrama is inspired by a story from Portugal called “Meu Amor” that won the International Emmy at the 2010.

In “Diseñando Tu Amor” they also participate Ana Belena , Osvaldo de León , Martha Julia , Chris Pazcal, Ale Müller , Frances Ondiviela, José Elías Moreno, María Sorté , Sergio Goyri , Norma Herrera , Ana Lorena Elorduy, Adrián Di Monte, Isabella Vázquez,, Armando Araiza , Daniela Álvarez, Mariluz Bermúdez , Adalberto Parra, Omar Germenos and Marco Muñoz, among others .

“Diseñando Tu Amor” is an original story by Antonio Barreira, adapted by Guillermo Quezada, José Enrique Jiménez, Oscar Ortíz de Pinedo and Gabriel Rojas. The stage direction is by Juan Carlos Muñoz, Guido Sánchez and José Manuel Fernández.

Serán 120 chapters of this story whose theme music is “A custom-made love” by the authorship of J. Eduardo Murguía and Mauricio L. Arriaga. Returning to tradition, Gala Montes, the protagonist of this story, interprets the musical theme.

“Diseñando Tu Amor” premieres on Monday 26 April at 8 pm/7c on Univision!

Valentina (Gala Montes), and her sister Nora (Ale Müller), work on the ranch of Armando Manrique de Castro (Marco Muñoz). Valentina is madly in love with Ricardo (Chris Pazcal), Armando’s son. Ricardo loves Valentina in a sickly way and has put a large sum of money in her name, which he has stolen from his father. Armando forces Ricardo to travel with him, since through his daughter Patricia (Martha Julia), he learns of his betrayal and knows that Ricardo intends to elope with Valentina. However, the plane suffers a terrible accident. Ricardo loses his memory, disappears and is presumed dead.

After having lost his father and boyfriend in the accident, Valentina and her sister Nora arrive in the City of Mexico to look for his uncle Horacio (José Elías Moreno), where they meet Claudio (Juan Diego Covarrubias), Horacio’s adopted son.

Valentina tries to make her way on her own and gets a job at the fashion house of the famous designer Yolanda Pratas (Frances Ondiviela) . From the beginning, Valentina shows great talent, but due to her naivety, she allows her designs to be stolen and she is fired. Claudio discovers Valentina’s ability to design and takes her to Helena’s (Ana Belena) atelier, without imagining that a family mystery will unite them for life.

Claudio and Valentina they will fall in love. Ricardo recovers his memory and looks for Valentina, surprising everyone with the news that she did not die in the tragic plane crash. Valentina and Claudio will defend their love against the surprising return of Ricardo.
