Kim Potter, the ex-cop who shot African-American Daunte Wright, is charged with involuntary manslaughter
The police officer who shot the young African-American man in the chest Daunte Wright last Sunday during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, will face charges of involuntary manslaughter in the second degree.
Washington County Attorney Pete Orput announced the charges Wednesday.
