Former NFL player Phillip Adams, was identified as responsible for the shooting in South Carolina , who murdered five people, including a prominent doctor and two minors.
According to information from the agency The Associated Press, a source who spoke on condition of anonymity, was the one who confirmed that Phillip Adams was the murderer of the doctor’s family and that after committing the crime he committed suicide after midnight with a. 45.
The source also told AP that the parents of Adams, who was defensive player of the 49 ers from San Francisco, Seahawks, Raiders, Jets and Falcons, lived near the doctor’s house in Rock Hill and they he had been treated by the doctor.

Adams, by 33 year-old, played defensively for South Carolina State. As a professional player in the NFL, he suffered multiple injuries, including concussions and a broken left ankle.

According to The York County Coroner’s Office, the five people killed by Adams were identified as Dr. Robert Lesslie of 70 years , and his wife, Barbara Lesslie, of 69; his grandchildren Adah Lesslie, 9, and Noah Lesslie, 5; plus a man who had been working at home, James Lewis, from 38 years, of Gaston , who was found outside the house shot to death.
Sadly 5 people have died as a result of the shooting. Dr. Robert Lesslie & his wife, Barbara Lesslie were both found in the home & died as a result of gunshot wounds, as well as their 2 grandchildren. James Lewis of Gastonia, was working at the home & died from gunshot wounds
