Body of a Young Man Found in Houston Church; two teenagers have been accused of killing him

HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that two teenagers face murder charges after the body of a young man was discovered on the premises of a church in the Houston metropolitan area.

Authorities have not identified the victim, whose body was found dead in the back of Second Baptist Church , located on the 400 block of Wallisville Street, in the Highlands area east of downtown Houston.

Researchers reported that they arrived at the scene after receiving reports on Monday of the discovery of a body. Upon arrival, the investigators found the corpse covered with branches and dirt.

Upon reviewing the body, they realized that the victim was stabbed several times.

Officials said the deceased youth had been reported missing after he was last seen with two other youths.

The two youths accompanying the victim were arrested on unrelated charges and while who were incarcerated were charged with the murder of the young man.
