During the last FIFA Date, the team led by Gerardo “Tata” Martino toured Europe to face Wales and Costa Rica. The balance was even as El Tri got a defeat (against Wales) and a victory (against the Ticos). In these preparation games Mexico scored a goal and conceded a goal.

El Tri had managed to place itself in the ninth box in the ranking; however, in this new update it was moved to position number 11.

On this FIFA Date, the team that made the best use of it was Italy, which is located in box number seven. They are followed by Argentina (8), Uruguay (9) and Denmark (10).
