At the Presidente Perón de Avellaneda stadium the formal inauguration of a mural with the Image of Diego Armando Maradona was held, under a project called “ Maradona Intervention Command “. In the initial exhibition were Racing authorities, former footballers and managers of the initiative.

The mural was made by artists from Mosaico Nacional. The imposing illustration is located on the beach of the stadium. The inauguration was led by Víctor Blanco , president of the club and other members of the board of directors. Also present were footballers who made up the squad led by Maradona in the year 1995.

The work was made by Paula Soto, Gonzalo López Lluch and Gabriela Pereyra . Next to the image a plaque was placed that says “Racing Club, in memory of Diego A. Maradona. The best player of all time who was the technical director of our team during the year 1995 ”.
