Gregg Musgrovea former California patrolman, discovered 12 unreleased songs by Michael Jackson among the contents of a warehouse which he bought in San Fernando Valley.

They reveal that Michael Jackson had a million-dollar debt at the time of his death

The tracks were recorded between 1989 and 1991, a period during which Jackson was working on his album Dangerous. The winery (located in a warehouse in the Van Nuys neighborhood) belonged to Bryan Lorena producer who worked with Sting, Whitney Houston and The King Of Pop.

“I’ve been to all the fan sites,” Musgrove told The Will. “Some of the songs are rumored to exist, some have leaked a bit. A couple of them have not even been made known to the world. I’m hearing these things and my skin crawls because no one has heard this before. Listen to Michael Jackson talking and joking was really cool.” One of the tracks is titled “Don’t Believe It” and another “Truth On Youth”a duet by Michael (who died in 2009) with rapper LL Cool J.

However, songs are unlikely to be released. Gregg Musgrove (who had already planned to go to auction houses) hired a lawyer, who informed him that The rights to the recordings belong to the singer’s heirsIn addition to the fact that they have the masters (original tapes) of those same songs.

In 2025 “Michael” will be released, a biopic by Michael Jackson directed by Antoine Fuqua.
