A christmas parade in the municipality of The Kingsin the state of Michoacan It became a tragedy after A truck ran over a group of teenagers who were participating in the caravan, leaving a preliminary balance of dead and at least 10 people injured. The person responsible for the mass accident fled the scene, so the authorities are asking for support to find his whereabouts.
What would be a night of fun, smiles and celebrations suddenly turned into a tragedy when a van ran over the participants of the Christmas parade, causing the death of a teenager, identified as Andrea.
The events occurred on the night of December 13 in the streets of Los Reyes in the streets of Torre Quintero and Nicolás Bravo when a pickup truck, driven at excessive speed, hit the minors.

While some help the minors who are lying in the street after being run over, a group of men approaches the truck and begin to try to lift it to rescue the people who were trapped.
When they manage to separate the unit from the wall, a minor is seen bloodied and motionless.
“It’s Andrea,” said one of the men, while people still could not believe what happened in the municipality of Los Reyes.
The driver fled the scene
In one of the videos, the driver responsible for the tragedy is seen getting out of the unit, walking towards the back of the truck and upon seeing what happened, taking advantage of the chaos to flee the scene.
Even in a video You can see how the driver of the truck passes in front of the person who is recording the events. The witnesses do not realize it since they focused on helping the injured people and rescuing the minor who was trapped under the unit.
It is presumed that the driver was being pursued by a military unit when he hit the participants of the Christmas parade, but the authorities have not confirmed this.
Mayor of Los Reyes promises zero impunity
The mayor of The Kings, Héctor Jiménez He regretted the accident and promised zero impunity against those responsible.
“This act cannot go unpunished in any way.” …the person responsible will pay for the facts,” he warned.
Mayor Jiménez announced that the authorities opened an investigation folder into the events and found the person responsible for the tragedy.
