Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andri Sibiga On Tuesday, he asked his counterparts from NATO member countries to send twenty additional air defense systems to Ukraine. so that Ukraine can protect its Army, population and infrastructure from Russian attacks.
“Ukraine urgently needs the supply of at least 20 additional Hawks, NASAMS or IRIS-T air defense systems. This will help prevent blackouts”Sibiga said in a statement to the media in Brussels, where he is participating in a meeting of NATO foreign ministers mainly dedicated to the war in Ukraine.
Sibiga also called for more support to reinforce the Ukrainian Army on the front, where kyiv is losing ground daily due, in part, to the numerical superiority of Russian forces.
“We need to stop Russia and not allow its Army to advance into our territory.””he declared. “Their logic is evident: they try to occupy as much territory as possible to strengthen their negotiating position in the future,” the Ukrainian minister stressed.
