Roy Jones advises Bivol so he can beat Beterbiev

Roy Jones Jr. advised Dmitry Bivol to must be more aggressive and look for the knockout against Artur Beterbiev in the rematch for the undisputed 175-pound championship that will take place on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In an interview with SecondsOut, Jones Jr. explained that Bivol he must take the advantage again like he did in the first fight and maintain it so that Beterbiev does not have any kind of opportunity.

“I thought Bivol had gotten ahead at the beginning, but Beterbiev recovered well at the end. They both fought differently than they used to. We expected Artur to try to knock him out. So, when he didn’t try, he showed us that he also has boxing skills. “This time, I expect Beterbiev to box smartly, but hopefully go for the KO,” he said.

“I know Bivol probably understands that he wants to win this time; will go for the KO. He will attack more, he will be ahead and, when he gets the advantage, he will maintain it. “He got the advantage (in the first duel), but he let Artur come back,” he added.
