Raudel Campos: From prisoner in the US for trafficking in women to official in Mexico

In the United States, the Mexican Raudel Campos Murillo He was accused and imprisoned for the crimes of transporting women and minors for the purposes of prostitution in 2022.

In August 2022, Yeishi Moriya28, daughter of the former mayor, was detained in Laredo, Texas, when she was trying to cross into Mexico with $248,000 in cash and weapons, for which she was prosecuted for money laundering crimes in Webb County.

In Mexico, security sources assure that the treasurer of Tacámbaro, Raudel Campos, could have a relationship with the CJNG leaders who seek to control the Michoacán region.

In a video released in November 2019, an armed group that identified itself as a CJNG cell said it had raided Tacámbaro, Michoacán.

Raudel Campos Murillo, currently the municipal treasurer of Tacámbaro, would have appeared in said video, according to security sources.
