The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), along with other organizations, filed a lawsuit against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to obtain records that reveal how the network of private, commercial and for-profit deportation flights run by ICE could be expanded to carry out a mass deportation and detention program.
The lawsuit alleges that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has not responded to requests for basic information on matters including flights.
