Orange Hispanic teacher arrested for inappropriate relationship with student

A Hispanic teacher, choir director, at a Southern California high school was arrested by police. accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old studentthe authorities reported.

The Santa Ana Police Department in Orange County said officers They went to the Santa Ana High School campus around 6:00 pm on Friday, November 15 after receiving reports of a student engaging with a teacher to engage in sexual acts.

Authorities mentioned that the young man, a high school senior, said he had been having sexual relations with his choir teacher, Yesenia Navarro García, 37 years olddirector of the Vocal Music Program at Santa Ana High School for about six months.

“During the investigation, the victim sent a text message to Navarro García to meet at a location in Santa Ana and, upon arrival, the agents detained her. Navarro García admitted all the sexual acts reported by the victim“said the Santa Ana Police Department.

Authorities added that the teacher, a resident of Orange, worked full time as a choir teacher for about five years.

Navarro García was admitted to the Santa Ana prison on several charges related to sexual assault, with bail set at $100,000.
