The Bosnian National Team reached the penultimate date of the group stage of the UEFA Nations League with no options to continue advancing so they took advantage of their recent visit to Germany to do some sightseeing before suffering a resounding 7-0 defeat against the ‘Mannschaft’ on Saturday night.

In the days prior to the match corresponding to the fifth day of the tournament, the Bosnian players were seen enjoying the facilities of the renowned Europa-Park amusement park, located in the city of Rust, where shortly after they were severely punished by the Germans.

Images were shared on social networks showing members of the Bosnian team enjoying their trip to Germany. In one of them, practically the entire staff appears on one of the amusement park’s roller coasters having a great time.

However, that enjoyment of the previous days ended on Saturday on the field of play where the German National Team was a complete bulldozer that overcame Bosnia (7-0) to achieve its fourth victory in five games. and give his rival his fourth defeat of the tournament.

The German offensive was led by Tim Kleindienst and Florian Wirtz who each contributed doubles while Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz and Leroy Sané were also present on the scoreboard to complete the German rout at the Europa-Park Stadium on Saturday night.

Since 2021, the German National Team has not achieved such a large result in an official match. On that occasion they won against Latvia with a clear 7-1. Those led by Julian Naggelsmann have not lost since July 5 against Spain in the quarterfinals of Euro 2024.

With the seven goals scored on Saturday against Bosnia, the German National Team reached 17 in this group stage of the UEFA Nations League.

For its part, for Bosnia it was a new fall in this UEFA Nations League that has been a nightmare, achieving only one draw in its five appearances. The Balkans have not known what a victory is for more than a year when they defeated Liechtenstein (0-2) on October 13, 2023.

The Bosnian team, which has already secured the last place in Group 3 of League A (so it will be relegated to League B), will have one last opportunity to say goodbye leaving a better memory when they face the Netherlands on Tuesday.

The Germans will do the same against Hungary, third in the group, with the firm objective of maintaining the good pace they have been showing after their elimination in the last Euro Cup at the hands of Spain despite having been called to be one of the great protagonists of the tournament.
