Who accompanied Trump on the night of his victory

Hours after the polls closed, Donald Trump took the stage prepared by his campaign in Florida to declare his victory surrounded by a huge group of family, allies, campaign advisors and sports figures.

His five children were present, some of whom assumed key roles in his last administration, along with four pairs of these and two of his ten grandchildren.

They also appeared campaign advisors and political alliesboth well-known and some who worked in the shadows in the Trump campaigns of 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Among the most surprising appearances, those of martial arts businessman Dana White and professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau stand out.

Here’s what we know about Trump’s entourage, which could offer some clues about what we can expect from his second administration.

Trump’s family

Trump’s relatives have supported him politically and professionally for years: they worked in his real estate business, were involved in his campaigns and even participated in his previous administration from 2017 to 2021.

At his side was his wife Melaniawho remained absent for much of the election campaign this time.

Trump praised her for writing the “best-selling book in the country,” an autobiography in which she advocates for women’s right to abortion, a position that contrasts with that of many members and supporters of the Republican Party.

The vice president-elect J. D. Vancea senator from Ohio, hailed Trump’s victory as the “greatest political comeback” in American history.

Vance is also the author of the best-selling memoir Hillbilly Elegy about his childhood in the Rust Belt, a white working-class area of ​​the US.

“It turned out to be a good choice,” Trump said. “At first there was resistance, but I knew it was a good brain, the best possible.”

Advisers and allies in the campaign

Key figures in Trump’s campaign team and his allies, including officials from his previous administration, savored his victory on stage.

Attendees included campaign co-chairs Susan Wiles and Chris LaCivita, Republican National Convention Chairman Michael Whatley, speechwriter Vince Haley, communications strategist Jason Miller, polling director Tony Fabrizio and senior adviser Dan Scavino.

The president of the UFC, Musk and a golf star

Although he was not on stage, the billionaire businessman Elon Musk was mentioned in Trump’s speech; The president-elect called him an “amazing guy” and praised the recent successes of his space travel company SpaceX.

“That’s why I love you, Elon,” Trump said.

The Tesla CEO has become one of Trump’s most prominent supporters and has drawn criticism in recent weeks for handing out a $1 million prize to voters in key states.

Dana Whitepresident of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), took the podium to declare that “no one deserves this more” than Trump and his family.

“He can’t be stopped, he keeps going, he doesn’t give up, he is the most resilient and hard-working man I have ever met in my life,” he said. White also thanked “powerful” podcast host Joe Rogan for his support of Trump.

Trump, a golf lover who suffered an apparent assassination attempt two months ago at his Florida course, also invited US Open golf champion to the stage, Bryson DeChambeau.

The two played a round together over the summer for the golfer’s YouTube channel.
