Despite the great plans that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro had for La Morera, the mansion they owned in Barcelona, their unexpected separation threw everything overboard.
Although it is true that he had already done all the procedures to remodel the property and adapt it to his liking, it transpired, according to what was reported by the portal Cuorewho has not made any of the modifications he had in mind.
“The singer requested a building permit to be able to accommodate the house to the couple’s tastes, although then the breakup paralyzed everything and that continues to this day,” reported the aforementioned portal about the mansion to which the Puerto Rican singer would have made reference in ‘Hayami Hana’, a song he released shortly after his breakup with the Catalan singer.
The property, which they acquired in January 2022 for €2 million euroswas called to be their love nest, but the pleasure did not last long, because in July 2023 they confirmed that they had decided to follow their separate paths.
So far it is unknown what will happen to the property, the only thing that is known is that the renovations have been stopped and there is no date for the remodeling work to resume.
‘La Morera’ was built between 1903 and 1905 by the renowned architect Ignasi Oms i Ponsa.
The property, which is distributed over two floors, draws attention for its white façade with red details, which gives it an extremely colonial and country touch.
According to the technical sheet, released by various media specialized in the sale of real estate, the residence has an extension of 28,644 square feet.
Inside it has eight suites, multiple bathrooms, hall, kitchen, dining room, dining room, living room, main room, games room, library, office, wine cellar, spa, laundry room, garage, among other rooms.
