In a historic speech acknowledging Donald Trump’s victory, Vice President Kamala Harris expressed her gratitude to her family, President Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Governor Tim Walz, her running mate, and her staff. campaign, while I accept that he has already spoken with the president-elect.

Harris said that the election results must be accepted and reiterated that she spoke with Trump and that she will participate in a peaceful transparency of power.

Although Vice President Harris accepted defeat, she said she has not given up the fight that fueled her campaign.

“The light of America’s promise will always shine as long as we never give up and keep fighting.””continued Harris, now a former candidate.

She concluded by assuring that, although many people feel that we are entering a dark time, for the good of all she hopes that is not the case.
