The American vice president and Democratic candidate for the White House, Kamala Harris, arrived on June 5 with the great possibility of becoming the first president of the United States and for this, he said that “the country is prepared for a new beginning.”

Harris took on the task of reversing the Democratic debacle after the initial candidacy of Joe Biden, who in the end recognized that he was not in his best moment to continue in the competition and therefore, left the baton to Kamala Harris.

What are Harris’ promises?

Kamala Devi Harris arrived on November 5 with several plans under her arm, in a more moderate speech than her opponent, but under the shadow of Joe Biden’s government, so, if she reaches the White House, she will take on five tasks main:

Initially, he said that would seek a promotion of a higher minimum wage and better working conditionsin addition to investments in infrastructure and renewable energy to create sustainable jobs.

Meanwhile, in a position totally opposed to Trump, Harris seeks to promote comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

At the international level, the Democrat expressed her idea of ​​​​doing diplomacy and collaboration with allies, especially on issues such as climate change.

To achieve victory, Harris plans to support expanding access to health care, including a public option for health insurance.

Finally, it seeks the elimination of discriminatory practices, while promoting the promotion of policies to address racial and economic inequality.

For now, more than 240 million people are called to decide this November 5 who will occupy the White House for the next four years, in addition to choosing the House of Representatives and a third of the Senate.
