Real Madrid has launched a unique initiative for football fans and collectors. The club will auction its old locker rooms from the legendary Santiago Bernabéu via British house Sotheby’s.
These are not ordinary changing rooms, but rather the ones used iconic figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham, during a period in which the merengue team managed to win six Champions Leagues and six Spanish league titles, among other trophies.
Each costume, which includes the name, locker and a photo of the player who wore it, has a base price of $10,000 pounds (about $13,000).
Additionally, each piece will have a certificate of authenticity, which supports its value and connection to the team’s history. and the relevance of the moments they represent. Fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on these objects, which symbolize some of the most successful eras in the club’s history.

Sotheby’s will also put other elements of the stadium up for sale, such as the historic metal doors of the Santiago Bernabéuwith an initial price of 8,000 pounds, and a three-meter-wide mosaic, valued at 12,000 pounds.
In addition to fulfilling the dreams of fans and collectors, this auction will have a social purpose, as part of the funds raised will go to the Real Madrid Foundation, which supports education and social inclusion projects for children and people in vulnerable situations.
