This weekend, Adele and Céline Dion starred in an emotional moment during one of the “Rolling in the Deep” singer’s shows in Las Vegas.

Céline Dion attended one of Adele’s concerts in Las Vegas. The British singer did not know that the “My Heart Will Go On” singer was in the audience and when she saw her she got excited and ran to greet her.

During the show, Adele got off the stage and walked through the audience while singing “When We Were Young” and when she saw Céline Dion she quickly approached and hugged her..

At the end, the British singer, who was noticeably moved with tears in her eyes, continued with the show, but asked for a loud applause for Dion and assured that she is one of her favorite people.

In 2022, Céline Dion shared her diagnosis of stiff person syndromeneurological disorder characterized by painful muscle spasms and stiffness.

Difficulty singing

In an interview of The Today Show, Celine Dion She told how spasms in her vocal cords affected her singing. “It’s like someone is pushing on your larynx and pharynx like this. “You can’t vary the tone, or go higher or lower,” said the singer, who indicated that the spasms spread to other parts of her body, such as her abdomen, ribs, spine, hands and feet.

“My fingers and hands will stay in this position… It’s like a cramp, but it’s a position where (you feel like) you can’t unlock them,” he explained.

The singer too shared the reason why he decided to keep his diagnosis a secret for a while of stiff person syndrome.

“We didn’t know what was happening,” the singer told Kotb. “I didn’t take the time, I should have stopped, taken the time to figure it out,” he added.

The singer said that her symptoms began to appear at the same time that her late husband René Angélil was fighting cancer. “My husband was also fighting for his own life,” she said. “I had to raise my children. I had to hide. “I had to try to be a hero,” he added.
