This Saturday, October 26 there will be a card of interest for boxing fans and in this Real America News agenda we will mention the most important fights that you can enjoy live today.
In England, Jack Catterall will be facing Regis Prograis at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. The fight was to take place in August, but the Englishman was injured and was rescheduled for this Saturday. The winner of this stellar duel will obtain the international title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) in the super lightweight category.
After defeating Josh Taylor in May, Catterall He will seek to achieve a new victory that brings him closer to a title fight against Alberto Puello or Teófimo López, since he occupies second place in the super lightweight ranking of the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the WBO.
On the other hand, Regis Prograis wants to return to winning ways after losing his WBC 140-pound title to Devin Haney in December 2023. On that occasion The Dream completely dominated him and took the victory by unanimous decision on the judges’ cards.
If Prograis manages to beat Catterall could get closer to a title shot again in the category and seek a rematch with Haney.
